Never Forget

The Valley Stream Civilian Patrol is a Neighborhood Watch Group. The purpose of the Valley Stream Civilian Patrol is to act as a non-political, non-partisan group of concerned citizens acting in a unified effort for the common good. We are not a law enforcing body. WE DO NOT GIVE OUT TICKETS. Our function is to assist in combating crime through legal means by observing, on a systematic basis within all of Valley Stream, with the intent of detecting and reporting to the proper authorities, events that suggest need for their intervention.

All residents of Valley Stream, 19 years of age or older, who are of good reputation and character and willing to serve without remuneration, are eligible to become members.

Our general meetings are open to everyone in the community and are held on the last Thursday of the month, in the Village Community Center, Hendrickson Park, at 7:30pm.

If you are interested in volunteering 2 or more hours a week with the Valley Stream Civilian Patrol or have any questions about the Civilian Patrol please call 516-823-9088 for more information, or email us at: vscp@valleystreamcivilianpatrol.org or you can fill out an on-line Application.

We are actively seeking new members
